A Prayer for Spring

Don’t unbreak this heart of mine

It’s all that’s left of me

Don’t undo the hurt and fear

That helps me to believe

Keep me safely in Your soil

The dirt of all I’ve known

Draw the life out from the death

The pain that makes me grow

Show Your face so faithfully

To lift me from this grave

Where leaning toward Your warmth, I find

My broken heart is saved
